Cambridge Lower Secondary Program
Grades: 6th - 8th
The Cambridge Lower Secondary Program at RIS is tailored to meet the diverse intellectual and developmental needs of students in Grades 6 to 8. This program ensures continuity and progression across various stages of learning, with a focus on continuous evaluation of student performance.
Program Objectives
- Skill Development: Emphasizes writing, reading, critical thinking, public speaking, and fostering a desire for knowledge.
- Academic Subjects: Includes English, Hindi/French, Marathi, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography.
- ICT Starters Award: Offered by the University of Cambridge, continuing through Class VII.
Integrated Curriculum
- Co-curricular Activities: Art, Drama, Music, Karate, Yoga, and Dance are incorporated into the curriculum and offered as optional activities.
- Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE): Addresses age-specific interests and promotes ethical conduct.
